Chow—the much-anticipated follow-up restaurant by EAT chef/owner Natalie Young—will open its doors on September 22, just in time for Life Is Beautiful. The restaurant next to The Writer’s Block at 1020 Fremont Street is what Young calls, “just anther cool little spot in Downtown Las Vegas.”
Cool and out of the ordinary, that is.
The East-meets-South café will serve beloved American Chinese dishes alongside classic Southern-style fried chicken while Robert Plant serenades diners over the restaurant’s speakers. Because everything is better with Led Zeppelin.
During Life Is Beautiful (Sept. 25-27), Young will serve just her fried chicken, fried rice and egg rolls from Chow’s walk-up window. Other than the festival days, the restaurant will open at 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, also serving beer and wine with its chow.
