Highlights From the Las Vegas Throwdown

Some of the best snowboarders, skiers and BMX riders from around the world hit the temporary slopes and jumps at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on November 12 for the Las Vegas Throwdown.

The daylong event featured an action sports playground with 60 tons of chipped ice, the “Throwdown Mountain” slop, a dirt jump course built by local BMX icon Ricardo Laguna, live music, vendors and more.

First place skier Nick Goepper said the Throwdown featured the “most insane rail jam I’ve ever been a part of” on social media. Snagging first in the snowboard category was Minnesotan Ryan Paul, with Australian wonder boy Andy Buckworth taking first in BMX. See the full list of winners below.
