All Weekend Long: Motown The Musical is at The Smith Center. The story of Berry Gordy’s journey from boxer to music mogul will have the everyone in the audience moving to the legendary American music. Showtimes are Fri-Sun at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee at 2 p.m. on Sat and Sun. Tickets start at $36

Friday:  Come tamed or untamed to Collective Zoo presents Zoology at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center featuring artists Shiba San, Will Clarke, Spacebyrdz and more. Step into to a 22,000-square-foot tent at 8 p.m. and dance along with the wildlife. The show is 18 and up. Tickets $20 ($25 at the door) and includes an open bar from 8-9 p.m.

Local acts make a Tribute to The Cure at The Bunkhouse Saloon. This free event starts at 8 p.m. and is guaranteed to bring back all the memories of the ‘80s—wanted or unwanted.

Saturday: Gamers unite at The Downtown Grand inside The Commissary for Esports FIFA 17 and Madden 17 tournaments. The $15 entry includes a free drink and a raffle ticket to be entered into a prize drawing. Registration is at  6 p.m. and the tournament starts at 7  p.m.

Show up to the Llama Lot at 11 a.m. for the Las Vegas Women’s March and be sure to bring your pussy hats to make a statement of solidarity with women across the nation. Marchers make their way .5 miles to the Federal Building. 

Sunday: Generation Rescue, a nonprofit advocating for autism, is hosting their ninth-annual No Limits Texas Hold’em Tournament, Ante 4 Autism at the Grand Event Center in Golden Nugget. Expect special appearances and a silent auction of entertainment items and sports memorabilia. Buy-in for the tournament is $125. The event starts at 7  p.m.
