March Madness and St. Patty’s Day

Friday: Watch hoops in comfort in a private Mancave at The D Each room comes with a server, open bar and stadium-style grub. Reserve a Mancave at 702-388-2200.

From March 16-19, enjoy drink specials such as $3 beers all day at the March Madness viewing party inside the Fremont Street Hotel & Casino at the Platinum banquet room. Doors open at 8 a.m.

Commonwealth opens early at 1 p.m. to kick-off St. Patrick’s Day. Enjoy beverage specials on the rooftop patio party.

Get lucky at Gold Spike’s backyard bash starting at 12 p.m. Shenanigans continue until the wee hours of the morning as partygoers indulge in $3 green PBRs, $5 Jameson shots, $6 Black and Tans and $5 corned beef sliders. Enjoy live music, DJs and a drums and pipes performance.

Hennessey’s Tavern is throwing a two-day music festival celebrating the Patron Saint of Ireland …and beer. Live music starts at 12:30 p.m. with Jameson, Guinness and Car Bombs galore. And don’t forget to eat. Try the tavern’s corned beef and cabbage.

The Downtown Grand’s Albumpalooza concert series showcases bands covering classic albums from start to finish.  Next up The Fab plays The Beatles’ Abbey Road. Come together, right now at Freedom Beat at 9 p.m. Free entry.

Sunday: Eclipse Theaters launches a new brunch. Catch the live action remake of the beloved Beauty and the Beast (or any flick of your choosing) while sipping on mimosas and enjoying new menu items such as chicken and waffles or french toast poppers. Mimosas and Movies starts at 10 a.m.
