Those who frequent The Center don’t need a reminder of the impact Nevada’s largest LGBTQ organization has on the community—they just have to look around. Since its founding in 1992, and its relocation to Downtown in 2012, the hub has given thousands the hope and support they’ve needed to press on in a world that isn’t always the most accepting. Earlier this month, The Center released its 2016 impact report, giving insight into how much the facility has done, and how we’ve paid it back. Here are some of the highlights.
Units of service provided through The Center’s programs.
Amount of HIV prevention materials, condoms and safer sex kits distributed throughout Southern Nevada.
Amount The Center contributed in room space to assist community groups and self-help programs in 2016.
