Andrew McMahon, Bonobo and More Added to Life Is Beautiful

As the sweltering summer soldiers on, the fifth installment of Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival draws nearer. To add to the simmering excitement, the Downtown Las Vegas music, art and food festival has announced four new acts who will join the lineup.

Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness is a Life Is Beautiful alumnus, having played at the very first festival in 2013. Still riding the wave of his sophomore solo release, Zombies On Broadway, McMahon will be hitting the stage to share his piano–driven, thoughtfully crafted songs with Las Vegas once again.

Bonobo will be sliding into town—for only the second time—fresh off a world tour. Although DJ sets connect wholeheartedly with the dance-hearty Vegas crowd, Bonobo will be executing a live set with the accompaniment of a full band. No doubt he’ll play tracks off his latest project, Migration, but there’s also a good chance he’ll revisit past hits as well.

Speaking of dancing, electronic duo Classixx will do everything in its power to inspire movement with a considerate production. The Los Angeles DJs were named after what they love, and they evoke the classic music of our time with experimental homages and handpicked features, including the latest cover of Van Halen’s “Right Now.”

Finally, Kamaiyah completes the four new additions to the lineup. This Bay Area rapper and singer burst onto the hip-hop radar within the last few years, and her eagerness for success was punctuated by being named in XXLmagazine’s 2017 Freshman Class.

The ever-growing expression of art through sonic, visual and edible means that is showcased each year at Life Is Beautiful will continue to evolve until the event commences in September. See the full music lineup below.
